Rocky Planet#1 from the Sun

Mercury

The Swift Messenger of the Gods

Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system and the closest to the Sun. Despite its proximity to the Sun, it's not the hottest planet — that title goes to Venus. Mercury has virtually no atmosphere, leading to extreme temperature swings between its day side (430°C) and night side (-180°C). Its surface is heavily cratered, resembling our Moon.
